Yellamundie Festival Director

Moogahlin Performing Arts is seeking a Yellamundie Festival Director to help shape the future of First Peoples performing arts.

The Festival Director will work across the 2027, 2029 and 2031 Yellamundie Festivals to:

  • Develop and curate the program

  • ⁠Build funding

  • Drive artist outreach and promotion

  • Select and support artists

  • Lead Festival delivery

This is a Sydney-based role at Carriageworks, with hybrid working and flexible part-time hours.

We’re looking for someone with experience in theatre-making, directing or artistic direction, creative producing, managing budgets and timelines, leading collaborative creative teams, and strong knowledge of and connections across the First Peoples arts sector.

Fundraising and Comms Coordinator

Moogahlin Performing Arts is seeking an experienced Fundraising and Comms Coordinator to help grow and diversify our income and strengthen relationships with audiences, donors, sponsors and supporters.

Working alongside the General Manager and Digital Producer, the role will help develop and deliver:

  • Fundraising and giving campaigns

  • Sponsorship opportunities and proposals

  • Philanthropic engagement

  • Donor and stakeholder communications

  • Campaign content and marketing materials

  • Systems and strategies to support long-term fundraising

We’re looking for someone with established experience in fundraising, sponsorship, philanthropy or related communications who can help build this area of Moogahlin’s work.

This is a part-time role of approximately 15 hours per week, based at our Carriageworks office in Redfern.

Regional Projects Assistant

Moogahlin Performing Arts is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Regional Projects Assistant to support our growing program of activities based in Brewarrina.

Working with our Artistic Director and Regional Producer, the role will provide administration, operational and logistics support across projects including performances, festivals, workshops, Language and Culture activities and community programs.

The role will assist with:

  • Project and office administration

  • Meetings, bookings and travel

  • Project timelines and budgets

  • Contracts and artist information

  • Events and community activities

  • Reporting and grants administration

We’re looking for someone with administration experience, strong organisational skills and good connections with First Peoples communities in and around the Brewarrina region.

This is a part-time role of approximately 2 days per week, based in Brewarrina on Ngemba Country, with hybrid working arrangements available by agreement.

Producer/Senior Producer

Moogahlin Performing Arts is seeking an experienced mid-senior Producer to help deliver our growing program of First Peoples performance works, including mainstage seasons, regional and national touring, and international presentation.

The Producer will take responsibility for projects from planning through to delivery, including:

  • Developing project timelines and budgets

  • Securing and managing project funding

  • Contracting artists, creatives and crew

  • Planning seasons, touring and logistics

  • Building relationships with venues and presenters

  • Supporting culturally safe and successful project delivery

This is a part-time role, approximately 3 days per week, ideally based at our Carriageworks office in Redfern, with possible remote working arrangements by agreement.

Moogahlin Performing Arts is seeking an experienced Admin and Projects Coordinator to support our artistic, producing, production, communications and administration teams.

This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day running of the company and delivery of projects locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Responsibilities include:

  • Project and office administration

  • Coordinating meetings, travel and logistics

  • Supporting contracts, budgets and project timelines

  • Grants and reporting administration

  • Communications and marketing support

  • Maintaining project systems and records

We’re looking for a highly organised person who enjoys working collaboratively, juggling priorities and helping a small team get things done.

This is a part-time role of approximately 2–3 days per week, based at our Carriageworks office in Redfern.

Production Manager

Moogahlin Performing Arts is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the planning and delivery of production and technical elements across our growing program of performances, developments, tours, festivals and community projects.

The Production Manager will work across:

  • Production and technical planning

  • Staging, lighting, sound and audiovisual

  • Touring and logistics

  • Production schedules and budgets

  • WHS and risk management

  • Managing technical staff and contractors

  • Supporting culturally safe and respectful delivery on Country and in venues

This is a part-time role of approximately 2 days per week, based at our Carriageworks office in Redfern-Eveleigh, with some travel and additional hours during busy production periods.
